Client Name: Syfin and Crowie ProjectsProject Description: Mott MacDonald Africa was appointed as the consulting engineers for the proposed development. The buildings team developed a cost-effective and innovative solution incorporating sustainability elements for the delivery of 16 residence blocks (1 100 beds), amenities buildings, and enabling works for a future parkade.
Key services provided included traffic, transport, civil, electrical and structural engineering. Careful integration of heritage elements into the services design preserved valuable heritage elements.
This project not only delivered high-quality accommodation with access to outdoor areas and improved circulation and indoor environmental quality, it has also supported sustainable urban regeneration in the surrounding vicinity.
